In addition to being parasitoid-resistant, "zipper plus" cages provide an added seam of protection around the zipper preventing the occasional wandering monarch caterpillar form pupating on the zipper and being damaged when unzipped. This 15" x 15" x 24" popup cage has five sides with polyester mesh with vinyl window to facilitate viewing. In direct sunlight contents such as caterpillars, host plants, and/or live butterflies are much more transparent than white popups. Ideally used for:

• Breeding painted ladies, red admirals, monarchs, buckeyes, and other butterflies
• Rearing caterpillars on potted host plants less than 24" tall
• Overwintering Viceorys or Red Spotted Purple Hibernacula on cuttings or potted host plant
